Verdino on NBC going widgetized / by Nate Westheimer

Greg Verdino is the VP of Emerging Channels at Digitas, so not just "another opinion", although his is truly just another opinion (as there are so damn many!). I don't always agree with his analysis (he said at a round-table I attended recently that "If I had to pick a standard for web video advertising, I'd pick the 15 second spot." -- a view I believe is narrow); nonetheless, I think this analysis of some recent NBC news is spot-on in a lot of ways.
