I absolutely love this political ad from John Edwards. I first saw it during the CNN/YouTube Debates and appreciated the humor of how stupid it is to focus on candidates' minor foibles. Then, after my dad forwarded it on to me again today, I began thinking about how darn appropriate the message was for the YouTube audience. While most candidates chose to just display business-as-usual political spots in their YouTube debate-spots, John Edwards and Hillary Clinton chose to change the tone and the tune to YouTube-speak. Hillary did this by joking around, but John did this by being satirical.
These days, satire works. Here's the video.
