Funny: The same day the WSJ ran an article about how we'll use less electricity (and pairs it with a podcast detailing why we'll need more power plants), Google announces that it will be installing the world's largest corporate solar plant. (1.6 megawatts!) The only bummer for me is that the Googster is teaming up with El Solutions instead of Ovonics, which is a company I keep in my portfolio. Oh well. Will this be a tipping point in corporate responsibility, like Starbuck's famous health care has been? Microsoft already made this move (to solar), so now will every other high tech company in the sunny State of California?

We shall see.
