I just registered for the TechCocktail Conference… which will take place in Chicago on May 29th.

If any of my readers would like to get a $25 discount, use this code — “freebricabox” — when you check out. GO REGISTER HERE!

Anyway, why am I going and who’s going to be there?

I’m going because the conference is being put on by two of the best community organizers in web tech: Frank Gruber of AOL and SomewhatFrank, and Eric Olson of DFJ Portage. Frank and Eric should be congratulated, by the way, as they just won the ITA CityLIGHTS award for their awesome TechCocktail events.

So now Frank and Eric are taking their magic and turning it into a really awesome one day conference with awesome speakers, including:

Mike Domek of TicketsNow / Ticketmaster

Dick Costelo of FeedBurner

Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library and GaryVaynerchuk.com

Jason Fried of 37Signals

Jen Consalvo of AOL

and many more (see the full list here)

Anyway, I really recommend you check this conference out, whether you live in the Midwest or intend on flying in from the West or East Coast (like me). There will be a great time and a great crowd.

Again, go here to register and use the code “freebricabox” to get a discount.
