Hi Nate,

This is a tremendous idea whose time is finally here. New York is so full of talented people but they're all tied up in industries that form New York's corporate staple -- finance and media. Now that the cost of starting up a company is decreasing, the sweet spot for New York's entrepreneurial talent is near. I'd love to collaborate on cafeBricolage in any capacity I can.

Thanks and good luck!

--Vishy.

PS: I second nick's idea above; leveraging meetup.com is a great way to start. I also agree with Josh above about the suitability of Brooklyn for this sort of thing.

maybe the cafe bricolage can start with a few meetup.com type meetings and establish critical mass in a few areas or locations. being new to NYC I wouldn't have a suggestion, but thoughts would be media friendly areas near a transport hub.

Just a thought. Make it the place in new york which is most open creative and prone to sharing ideas. Ideally MOMA :) or a very forward looking marketing firm with large colorful meeting area.

Nate - I love this idea and would be very interested in collaborating with you on it. As I mentioned yesterday, I think Brooklyn is a conducive space to create something like this and the cheaper rents, lower skyline and laid back culture all contribute to creating an environment that fosters creativity and innovation. I'm off to LA tonight, then Australia for two weeks, but let's get together and chat when I get back.
